Kathak Indian Classical Dance

Kathak is among the six major classical dances of India and one of the most dynamic theater arts in the world. The word Kathak is derived from katha, meaning “the art of storytelling.” I have been studying Kathak dance for ten years. In this video, I am the dancer on the left in this still image.

Tae Kwon Do

Tae Kwon Do is a traditional Korean martial art that combines combat and self-defense techniques. I recently earned my 3rd dan black belt at the Sunnyvale Martial Arts Academy.

Board-breaking was one of the sections of my third degree test. I had to break three boards with any sequence of kicks.
